Atomic
Aquatics Split Fins |
||
Using
the original natural wings design, this fin has been made to perfection
without compromise. The diver glides effortlessly through the water, the
wings acting as propellers. Eight stabilizing elements correct the form
of the blade during the kick. The blade is large and has more surface
area than the other Split Fins available on the market. This gives the
diver a quicker start and more speed to overcome strong currents. Another
feature of the Atomic Aquatics Split Fin is the Power Plate, which is
directly built into the bottom of the foot pocket; this directs the energy
of the kick to the Power Rails. During the manufacture of the fin nine
different parts are put together by hand, before the fin is spread, making
it a real ‘hand made’ fin. The buckles also use the latest
technology. The patented EZ-Lok system makes it easy to click open and
close and accidental opening is not possible. The buckle also swivels
through 180 degrees and the straps adjust with a light pull. In Split
Fin comparison tests from Unterwasser May 2001 and Tauchen December 2000
this fin was the winner for top speed. Colours: black, blue or yellow |
